The bio herbal Finnish sauna combines pleasant warmth, slightly higher humidity, and the soothing scents of selected herbs. Thanks to its lower temperature, the experience is gentler than a classic Finnish sauna, making it suitable for guests who find extreme heat challenging.

Herbal aromas create a feeling of freshness and help foster a pleasant, relaxing environment. This sauna is an excellent choice for a calm start to your session or for longer relaxation in moderate heat.

Beneficial effects:

  • Gentle and gradual body warming

  • Relief of muscle and mental tension

  • A pleasant feeling of opened airways

  • Soothing impact of herbal aromas

  • Suitable choice for less experienced sauna-goers

Finnish Sauna

Finnish Sauna

Temperature 75–90 °C
Humidity 5–15 %
Persons 15

The Finnish sauna represents a classic sauna experience with high temperatures and dry air. Intense heat stimulates heavy sweating and deep relaxation, making it a favorite among experienced sauna enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys a stronger feeling of heat.

After a Finnish sauna session, we recommend gradual cooling down and a sufficiently long period of rest, as the alternation of heat, cooling, and rest forms a complete sauna ritual.

Beneficial effects:

  • Intense body warming

  • Stimulation of sweating

  • Relief of tired and tense muscles

  • Promotion of blood circulation

  • A feeling of physical and mental relaxation

  • Support for recovery after physical activity

Infrared Sauna

Infrared Sauna

Temperature 45–60 °C
Humidity 5–15 %
Persons 2

The infrared sauna uses infrared heat to pleasantly and directly warm the body at a lower room temperature. Due to these milder conditions, it is ideal for visitors who want to feel deep warmth without facing the high temperatures of a traditional Finnish sauna.

It is especially pleasant after sports activities or a tiring day when you want to relieve strained muscles and reduce physical tension.

Beneficial effects:

  • Pleasant deep-tissue warming

  • Relief of tense and tired muscles

  • Support for recovery after physical activity

  • Promotion of blood circulation

  • A gentler experience at lower temperatures

  • A feeling of lightness and relaxation

Steam Aroma Sauna

Steam Aroma Sauna

Humidity 90-100 %
Persons 4

The steam aroma sauna combines gentle heat, high humidity, and carefully selected scents of essential oils. Warm steam envelops the body, while aromatic notes create a calming or invigorating atmosphere.

Due to its lower temperature and high humidity, it offers a pleasant alternative to dry saunas. It is ideal for anyone who enjoys an aromatherapeutic ambiance and wishes to relax both body and senses.

Beneficial effects:

  • A pleasant feeling in the airways

  • Relaxation of the body in warm steam

  • Hydration and softening of the skin

  • Soothing impact of selected aromas

  • Reduction of stress and tension

  • Holistic relaxation of body and mind

Salt Steam Sauna

Salt Steam Sauna

Temperature 40-50 °C
Humidity 90-100 %

The salt steam sauna combines the soothing warmth of steam with a unique salt ambiance. High humidity creates a pleasant environment for relaxation, while the salt experience complements the feeling of freshness and comfort in the airways.

Warm steam helps soften the skin and prepares it for further wellness care. The salt steam sauna is suitable for anyone seeking a gentler sauna experience and relaxation in humid warmth.

Beneficial effects:

  • A pleasant feeling of opened airways

  • Relaxation in a warm and humid environment

  • Softening and hydrating of the skin

  • A feeling of freshness

  • Soothing effect and improvement of overall well-being

How to use the sauna correctly

Before the Sauna

Arrive for your sauna session clean and free of makeup. Before entering for the first time, shower with warm water and dry off thoroughly, as dry skin begins to sweat faster.

Remove all jewelry and watches; metal items can become very hot in high temperatures and cause skin burns. Safely store clothing, phones, and other personal items in your locker. Wellness Harmonija is not responsible for personal belongings.

Drink a glass of water or herbal tea before entering. Avoid heavy meals, alcohol, and other substances.

During the Sauna

Always adjust the duration of your session to your experience, health condition, and current well-being. A single sauna session should generally last between 8 and 15 minutes.

Start on a lower bench where the temperature is milder. If comfortable, you may gradually move higher. In dry saunas, always use a large enough sheet so that no part of your body directly touches the wooden bench.

An SOS button is installed in every sauna room. If you experience nausea, dizziness, rapid heartbeat, or any severe discomfort, exit immediately. Press the SOS button if you require assistance.

Cooling Down and Showering

After leaving the sauna, cool your body down with a cold shower or a plunge into the pool. When showering, start at your feet and hands, gradually moving toward the torso.

Dry off completely after cooling down and wrap yourself in a dry towel or bathrobe. Always shower before entering the pool or any shared water area.

Rest and Hydration

Allow yourself at least 15 minutes of rest between sauna sessions. Calm your breathing and allow your body to cool down properly.

Drink plenty of water or unsweetened herbal tea after your session to replenish lost fluids. Repeat the full cycle of sauna, cooling, and resting only as many times as feels comfortable.

Sauna use is not an endurance test—its goal is relaxation, so always listen to your body.

When Is Sauna Use Not Recommended?

Sauna sessions are not suitable for individuals with acute illnesses, flu, colds, infections, or certain skin conditions. Persons with cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure, or pregnant women are advised to consult a physician beforehand.

Entry is forbidden for individuals under the influence of alcohol or other substances.

Children and minors under 16 years of age are not permitted entry into the Sauna World.
